Philip Dosoo obtained his LL.B. (Hons) degree from the University of Calabar in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 and to the Ghana Bar in 1993.
Philip Dosoo holds a Professional Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors of Ghana.
Philip Dosoo was a participant in 1999 in the Orientation in the U.S. Legal System with concentration on international business transactions at the .International Law Institute, George Washington University Law School in the United States of America.
Philip Dosoo has worked as Legal Officer/Company Secretary of Capital Group Limited, a Debt Recovery Company, TV3 Network Limited (TV3), Gama Film Company Limited.
Philip Dosoo has vast experience as a Company Secretary. While at Trustee Services Limited (TSL), a subsidiary of Bentsi- Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah, he was the General Manager and was actively involved in the provision of Company Secretarial Services to several companies including Busyinternet Ghana Limited, Medlab Ghana Limited, Medical Imaging Limited, Adamus Resources Ghana Limited, Micro Insurance Agency Ghana Limited, Heidelberg Ghana Limited, ASA Savings and Loans Limited, Advance Ghana Savings and Loans Limited, Unilever Foundation for Education and Development and Golden Link Financial Services Limited.
Additionally he served as a Nominee/Alternate Director on the Boards of Medlab Ghana Limited, Elwa Ghana Limited (a subsidiary of the Ecu Group based in Belgium), Central African Gold Ghana Limited (a subsidiary of Central African Gold PLC of South Africa), Etruscan Resources Ghana Limited. Philip Dosoo has been in active private practice since 2013 and his experience includes:
- Conducting Litigation at the commercial courts of Ghana for various causes, including debt recovery on behalf of various foreign clients including Lamex Foods Inc of the United States of America, Lamex Foods Europe AG of Switzerland, Jebsen & Jessen (GMBH) & CO. of Germany, Noridane Foods A/S of Denmark, GB Meat Group APS of Denmark and Biegi Foods GMBH of Germany among others.
- Advising BD (West Africa) Ghana Limited on all corporate matters.
- Advising Amalgamated Investments Limited on its Share Transaction with BCM Investments Limited in respect of its shares in Sanu Resources (Ghana) Limited.
- Conducting Litigation at the commercial courts of Ghana in respect of contract enforcement on behalf DEM Equipment (Ghana) Limited.
- Advising Education Development Trust (a registered UK Charity) EDT UK) on how to set up in Ghana.
- Working in collaboration with Kusamotu & Kusamotu Law Firm of Nigeria, in the recovery of Debts owed by companies in Ghana to Chinese companies.
