Grace Akua Obimpeh-Moffatt is the Head of the Intellectual Property department at Hesse & Hesse since 2009. Grace holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons)degree from Mountcrest University College.
Before joining Hesse & Hesse, Grace worked in several companies in Accra, including Lynes Quashie-Idun & Company, one of the oldest law firms in Ghana as a Paralegal in charge of Intellectual Property Rights for twelve (12) years.
Grace has excellent skills in the drafting of all kinds of commercial agreements including Intellectual Property Licenses, Assignments and Co-existence/settlement agreements. She also has the immeasurable ability to assist clients in assessing their Intellectual Property portfolios. Grace has attended several conferences related to Intellectual Property rights as well as the annual show piece event dubbed “The Africa Network Meeting” organised by Adams & Adams in Pretoria, South Africa since 2013. Her rich experience in Intellectual Property law affords her the required skills to handle issues that arise in commercial transactions.
Grace is also equipped with the current cutting edge processes for establishing new or challenging Intellectual Property applications in Ghana. She is currently a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
